WatchLore Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WatchLore mobile app and related services ("Service"). By using WatchLore, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
2. License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service for unlawful activity.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or user data.
- Circumvent paywalls or subscription controls.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
WatchLore offers auto-renewing subscriptions (for example, monthly and yearly plans).
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The exact subscription price and billing period shown in the purchase flow at checkout controls.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Renewal charges occur within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple/Google account settings or via in-app subscription management links.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by law.
4. Pricing and Changes
- Prices may vary by region, taxes, and storefront policies.
- We may change subscription pricing or plans for future billing periods as permitted by platform policies and applicable law.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the platform where you purchased the subscription:
- Apple purchases: through Apple support and your Apple account settings.
- Google Play purchases: through Google Play order history and support.
6. Content and Data
- You retain rights to content you create in the app (such as watchlists and notes).
- You grant us rights necessary to host, process, and sync that content to operate the Service.
- You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third-party providers (including Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, TMDB). Their terms and policies may apply to related functionality.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal/security reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WatchLore is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where WatchLore is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
